Noida. Dengue patients are increasing in Noida and Greater Noida of Gautam Budh Nagar. There are certain areas and sectors which have become a cluster of dengue. Most dengue patients are coming from this cluster. Looking at the figures of the last two-three years, the number of dengue patients has increased this year. Every day about 15 to 20 dengue patients are coming. However, the administration is making continuous arrangements to deal with dengue. The number of beds in hospitals has been increased. Anti-larva drug is being sprayed. Fogging is being done in the cluster of dengue. Special attention is also being paid to cleanliness in Noida and Greater Noida.
So far 357 dengue patients have arrived in Noida
According to experts, the outbreak of dengue was negligible in Gautam Buddha Nagar for the last four years. If we look at the figures, in the year 2017, 13 cases of dengue were registered in Gautam Buddha Nagar. Whereas 28 cases were registered in the year 2018, 40 in the year 2019 and 27 in the year 2020. While looking at the figures of this year, 357 cases of dengue have been registered in Noida alone so far. On Tuesday also 17 cases have been registered. Noida has the highest 10 clusters of dengue in the entire district.
Where are the 18 clusters of dengue in the district
According to the officials of Gautam Buddha Nagar Health Department, the maximum clusters in Noida are in Sector 5, 9, 22 and 51 with Sadarpur, Chlera, Mamura, Nithari, Barola, Chhijarsi. While the clusters identified in Greater Noida are Alpha 2, Gamma 1, Beta 1, Gaur City 1-2, Hebatpur, Kulesara and Surajpur.
All sectors and areas have been declared as cluster of dengue. Special vigilance is being taken here on the instructions of DM Suhas LY. Fogging is happening from time to time. The water that has accumulated anywhere is being cleaned. Anti-larva drug is being sprayed.
Special arrangements have been made in hospitals
The number of dengue patients is increasing continuously in Gautam Buddha Nagar. A 10-bedded dengue ward has been made on the third and fourth floors of the Children’s Hospital and Post-Graduate Educational Institute located in Sector 30. More than 300 patients of dengue are being treated in different hospitals of the district. Every day 15 to 20 patients are coming for dengue.
Dengue patients are being tested through ELISA kit. Doctors say that children and adults are coming in the grip of dengue, so more precautions have to be taken. According to experts, the consumption of platelets has also increased significantly. There is a constant demand. So far at least four thousand platelets were found in a dengue patient in the district hospital.
