The 49th Foundation Day of Shri Agrasen Girls PG College, Varanasi was celebrated with great enthusiasm today. Students and teachers extended Diwali greetings and distributed sweets by lighting up the campus with lamps. Despite the official holiday today, a large number of students and teachers gathered in both the campuses of the college, Bulanala and Parmanandpur. Dr. Shubhra Verma, Dr. Pratibha, Neeta Diswal, Archana Sharma, Nidhi Bajpayee sang the aarti of Maharaj Shri Agrasen. After this, the manager of the college, Anil Kumar Jain, addressed the students and teachers in Parmanandpur campus. He said that in the development of any institution, its students, teachers and staff all have a role to play. This contribution and commitment is essential. Principal Dr. Mithilesh Singh expressed his gratitude towards the founders by worshiping the foundation stones in the college. Dr. OP Chaudhary, associate professor of psychology department and media in-charge of the college, said that on November 3, 1973, the college was established by the prestigious Shri Kashi Agrawal Samaj of Kashi. Now it has come in its huge form. He expressed his gratitude to the entire Agrawal society by mentioning founder Babu Badri Prasad Agrawal, Babu Thakur Das Agrawal, Dr. Bhagwan Das etc. College’s Vice Principal (Bulanala Campus) Dr. Suman Mishra said that we school-college people should start work to take the National Education Policy-2020 on the ground.
