Two major accidents took place in Uttar Pradesh on Wednesday morning. In this 6 people died. In Mirzapur, 3 people going to attend a wedding ceremony were hit by a train, while 3 people who were drinking tea near Gumti in Shravasti were crushed by a speeding container.
According to eyewitnesses, the speed of the container was so fast that it went off the road uncontrollably. At the same time, the reason for the second accident was crossing the track from the platform instead of the stairs.

Eight people from a family from Nagpur, Maharashtra had come to Ugapur village in Bhadohi district to attend the marriage ceremony of the daughter of relative Radheshyam Gupta. All of them got down from Patliputra Express at Mirzapur station at around 6 am. Bablu Singh (45), a resident of Aurai in Bhadohi district, had come to pick up the guests from Scorpio. After taking the guests with him, Bablu was coming on platform number one from the railway track without going from the ladder. One of the guests was unable to cross the track. The Swarna Jayanti Express arrived while the woman was crossing the track. Durga Devi (50), Rajesh Gupta (48) and Bablu died after being hit by the train.
Container overturned on roadside dumps.
On NH-730 near Chaudhary Ram Bihari Buddha Inter College of Naveen Modern Police Station, Shravasti, the container went out of control and overturned on the roadside dumps, breaking the divider. Three people died after being buried under the container. Daddu Kumar Shukla, Santosh Kumar Pandey and Ram Manohar have died.
