Union Communications Minister Ashwini Vaishnav has said that the target is to launch 6G technology in the country by the end of 2023 or early 2024. He said that whatever necessary equipment will be there regarding this technology, they will be manufactured in India itself. It can be seen in 2023 or 2024. The Minister of Communications also said that after starting this technology in India, we will distribute it all over the world. Work on 6G development begins

Preparing to launch indigenous 5G
He said that not only is work being done on 6G technology, but India itself is preparing to launch indigenous 5G. The Union Minister said that the process of auctioning 5G spectrum can also be started in the second quarter of next year. TRAI has been contacted for this. TRAI is taking suggestions for this, which will be completed by February-March next year. After which the process of auction can be started in the second quarter of 2022.
