Improvement in connectivity between Mathura and Vrindavan
Hema Malini made a proposal late Wednesday evening meeting the Railway Minister. He said that the existing railway line between Mathura and Vrindavan covers a distance of 12.98 km with 22 meters ROW and 5 stations. Here the railway has 38.7 hectares of land. This line is currently less useful. Even before this, the Railway Ministry had done a spot inspection on this. However, due to financial constraints, that proposal could not go ahead.
The beautification of this railway line will not only improve the connectivity between Mathura and Vrindavan, but will also get rid of traffic problems and congestion. Apart from this, the access of devotees coming to both the places will be easy.
