Department officials taking milk samples from a vehicle carrying milk
Food Safety and Drug Administration raided milk shops in Mathura on Friday. The Food Safety and Drug Administration formed two separate teams and simultaneously raided more than half a dozen places. During this, the team collected samples of milk for testing on suspicion.
Action to prevent adulteration
On the instructions of Assistant Commissioner, Food Safety and Drug Administration, Mathura, Dr. Gauri Shankar, two teams of Food Safety Department took guerilla action in many areas to prevent adulteration and maintain the quality of milk and milk products. Under which the team, after inspecting Vishnu Dairy operating in the Naujheel area, collected a sample of cheese for testing if there was any doubt.
Checking of vehicles carrying milk
The team stopped and checked the vehicles carrying milk in Bajna area. After testing the milk, 3 milk samples were collected from different vehicles. The second team collected 4 samples while inspecting the milk of milk vendors from Sankh Adda in Govardhan area, Madhusudan Sweets Bhandar at Jatipura, Prem Pal Singh’s food establishment at Chhoti Parikrama and Milk Dairy located in Nagla Chhatriya. All the samples were sent to the laboratory for testing.
