Neighbors gang-raped a woman who went to take fodder in the field in a village of Pisawa police station area
In a village under Pisawa police station area of Aligarh, neighbors gang-raped a woman who had gone to get fodder in the field. When the woman tried to save her honor during the gangrape, both the accused hit the woman in the neck with sharp weapons and seriously injured her. After which both the accused fled leaving the woman in an injured condition. When the villagers came to know about the incident, they informed about it and blocked the road for the arrest of the accused. After which the police reached the spot and pacified the agitated villagers by assuring them of early action.
The woman had gone to the fields to take fodder
The victim’s husband told the police that his wife had gone to the fields in the evening to get fodder. Only then a young man from the village came there with one of his companions and caught his wife. Both raped the woman in turn. During this, when the woman protested and tried to save her honour, both the accused misbehaved with her and bit her with teeth at various places. After this, he tried to kill himself by hitting him in the throat with a sharp weapon. After this, both the accused fled from there leaving the woman in a bleeding condition. The incident came to light when the villagers passing by saw him.
Villagers jammed for hours
After the incident, the police reached the spot, admitted the woman to the Community Health Center, from where she was referred to Malkhan Singh District Hospital as her condition was critical. At the same time, angry villagers created a ruckus over the arrest of the accused and blocked the Jattari, Pisawa road. When the police registered a case after trying for a long time, people opened the jam.
Case has been registered on the complaint of husband
After the uproar by the villagers, the Pisawa police station has registered a case against the neighbor and one of his companions on the complaint of the husband. Pisawa police station in-charge Narayan Dutt Tiwari said that the woman’s husband has filed a case against both the accused. On the basis of Tahrir, a case has been registered against the accused under various sections including gangrape, attempt to murder. He said that efforts are on to nab the accused and they will be arrested soon.
