After grit, BJP changed its two candidates, both have criminal records

Bhopal. BJP in urban body elections Bhopal City Corporation Has changed his two candidates for the post of councilor. Wards in which the candidates for the post of councilor have been changed include Ward 40 and 44. accused of running bet from ward 40 Babu Mastan wife of Masarat Ticket has been cut. While Bhupendra Chauhan alias from Ward 44 Pinky Bhadauria Ticket has been withdrawn.

Giving information about this, BJP state president VD Sharma said that the policy of BJP is zero tolerance in case of criminal cases. It was already made clear that if a candidate’s criminal cases come to the fore, his/her candidature will be rejected.

two tickets cut
A strong complaint was received against both the candidates who were made candidates from ward 40 and 44 of Bhopal. So their tickets have been cut. However, the state president did not announce who would be the new candidate on these wards. It is believed that the candidate whose nomination has been filed by the party as a back up will be given a B form.

Decision taken after gritty
BJP had released a list of 79 candidates for 85 wards of Bhopal Municipal Corporation on the last day of filing nominations. In this, Masarat, wife of Babu Mastan, famous from Satta King from Ward 40, was made the candidate of councilor. Whereas from Ward 44, the infamous crook Bhupendra Chauhan alias Pinky Bhadauria was made the candidate. Some videos of these people being involved in criminal cases also went viral on social media. After that, BJP was getting a lot of grit. This matter had also come before the Appeal Committee of BJP. After that it was decided to cut the ticket.

State President’s Ultimatum
On the other hand, BJP state president VD Sharma has issued an ultimatum to the rebels of BJP. VD Sharma said in his statement that there are many places where party workers have filed their nominations against the authorized candidate. If such people do not withdraw their names, then strict action will be taken against them. The last date for withdrawal of nominations for urban body elections is June 22.
