UP News: On Friday, the district administration took strict action against illegally running nursing homes and clinics in Sitapur. Along with this, a case has been registered against them under various sections. Villagers had complained to the Chief Minister and the district administration about illegal clinics running in Hargaon police station area of Sitapur district. After which the police force along with SDM Sadar Anil Kumar Rastogi, CO Sadar Raju Kumar Sao, ACMO Dr Surendra Shahi, Hargaon police station in-charge conducted a surprise inspection on Friday.
The clinic was sealed
When the mother clinic was inspected, there was neither a doctor nor any staff, the staff who was present had run away. In the underground basement built in that clinic, 3 female patients were found who had come for their treatment. All the medicines which were in that hospital were expired. After which SDM Sadar immediately seized that clinic and ordered to register a case. At the same time, another clinic (Ananya Clinic) was also investigated. There were only boards with the names of doctors, but no doctor was present. All the medicines had expiry here too.
Complaint was made to CM and district administration
According to SDM Sadar, the villagers had complained to the Chief Minister and the district administration about the raids on both the clinics. After which, after conducting raids on both the clinics today, instructions have been given to take action by registering a case under relevant sections. In the past, Jaunpur SDM Pradeep Kumar and Additional Chief Medical Officer Dr. SP Verma had also examined the nursing home. During this, many clinic and nursing home operators escaped after closing the lock. Cases were registered against these clinics and nursing home operators and some clinics and nursing homes were seized.
