The Braj Ratna Award ceremony was organized on Tuesday at Artifact Convention Cultural and Convention Center. During this, 11 eminent personalities were honored with the Braj Ratna Award. Chief guest Governor Anandiben Patel has said that preservation of culture is also a service to the nation. It is the strongest way to show gratitude towards one’s native land. He said that the youth should come forward to preserve the culture. Only then will our culture be safe.
Governor honored 11 personalities
The Governor honored 11 personalities of Braj with the Braj Ratna Award organized by the Incredible India Foundation. Honors were given in spirituality, literature, sports, acting, film, dance etc. Governor Anandiben Patel was felicitated by Puran Davar and Brajesh Sharma, Chairman, Incredible India Foundation. Comic poet Kaka Hathrasi was awarded posthumously at the ceremony. Kathak Guru Kajal Sharma, who was living in England, was respected by her family members. MP SP Singh Baghel, Braj Ratna Award Organizing Committee Chairman Kishore Khanna, Squadron Leader AK Singh, Dr. Sushil Gupta, Rajesh Garg, Rohit Jain, Dr. Aanchal Sharma, Brijesh Sharma, Madhusudan Bhatt, Madhukar Arora, Shakun Bansal, Aslam K. Saifi, Mukul Jain, Adarsh Nandan Gupta, Dr. Mahesh Dhakad, Murari Prasad Agarwal, Ashok Sharma, Dr. Ram Naresh Sharma etc. were present.
Remembering Dwarka Prasad Maheshwari
Governor Anandiben Patel reverently remembered the literary contribution of late Dwarka Prasad Maheshwari, the eminent litterateur known as Children’s Gandhi, at the Braj Ratna Award ceremony. He described the inclusion of his song ‘Itne Uchte Utho Ki Jita Utha Gagan Hai’ in his speech at the National Youth Congress as a proud moment for the entire Braj region including Agra.
