Trends are beginning to appear in the counting of votes for the Uttar Pradesh assembly elections. Till the fifth round, BJP is leading in seven out of nine assembly seats in Agra. The results of all the nine assembly seats will be revealed by late night.
Counting of five rounds of votes has been completed for nine assembly seats in Agra district. Till now BJP is leading in seven out of nine assembly seats in Agra. In the Khairagarh assembly, the Congress and the BJP have a tough fight with Rakesh Baghel of the BSP in Etmadpur. Rakesh Baghel has reached the fifth round.
BSP overtakes Etmadpur in fifth round
After the fifth round of counting of votes in the Etmadpur assembly seat, there has been a big upset. BSP candidate Rakesh Baghel is leading by 1319 votes. After the fifth round of counting, Dr Dharampal Singh of BJP got 16588 votes. Whereas Rakesh Baghel of BSP has got 17917 votes.
Pakshalika Singh leading by 5217 votes in Bah
After five rounds of counting, BJP candidate Rani Pakshalika Singh is leading over her rival SP candidate Madhusudan Sharma from Bah assembly constituency by a total of 5217 votes after the fifth round of counting. BJP got total 15238 votes. SP got 10021 votes and BSP got 9907 votes.
BJP’s lead from Agra North, former governor is also ahead
After three rounds in Agra North Vidhan Sabha, Purushottam Khandelwal of BJP is leading over Shabbir Abbas of BSP with 10854 votes by securing 14426 votes. Shabbir Abbas got 3572 votes. Former Governor Babyrani Maurya, BJP candidate from Agra Rural, is leading in the fifth phase.
