The victim daughter informed social worker Naresh Paras. According to Naresh Paras, the teenager informed her mother about the incident. He advised her to stay in a safe place. On the other hand, he sought help by tweeting to the Directorate of Women Welfare and Police Headquarters.
On Thursday night, the police rescued the girl with the help of Child Line. Inspector Jasvir Singh Sirohi, in-charge of police station Shahganj, said that the daughter accused the father of beating her. On this he and his sister have been brought. He has been kept in Childline. Will be presented before the Child Welfare Committee on Friday.
