Pratapgarh: The process of changing the sides of the leaders is going on regarding the assembly elections to be held in Uttar Pradesh (UP Election 2022). In Pratapgarh too, political agitation is intensifying in view of the assembly elections. Without getting tickets, the candidates are busy in the campaign of defection very fast. Meanwhile, there is news that RK Verma, the rebel MLA of Apna Dal (S) Anupriya faction, can ride a cycle on January 16 by joining the SP. Therefore, he also resigned, breaking ties with his party (S).
Vishwanathganj MLA Dr. RK Verma was active in the SP camp for months. He was also present in the big program of SP, due to which Apna Dal S had suspended MLA RK Verma from the party a few days ago due to anti-party activities, after which the political temperature of the district has increased. RK Verma has won the Viswanathganj assembly elections twice from the Apna Dal-BJP alliance.
In fact, in the 2014 by-election, Dr. RK Verma had contested from Apna Dal and won. After this, Verma, who again entered the electoral fray from the Apna Dal and BJP alliance in 2017, won the Vishwanathganj assembly seat. But now RK Verma has accused the BJP government of anti-democracy and promoting it.
There was a ruckus inside the party to become a minister
Sources reveal that MLA RK Verma is angry with Apna Dal S’s supremo for years. MLA RK Verma ended Apna Dal’s drought in 2014 and won this seat. However, after winning the 2017 assembly elections, he had a rift with Anupriya Patel over the ministerial post, after which MLA RK Verma left his party S.
