Akbarpur assembly seat of Ambedkarnagar district is becoming a neck for the Samajwadi Party. Two former cabinet ministers are contenders for this seat. Ram Achal Rajbhar, the old constable of one SP, Ramamurthy Verma, and the other BSP rebelled. Two leaders are running from this seat by assuming their tickets are confirmed. Ram Achal Rajbhar, MLA and former cabinet minister from Akbarpur seat, who was expelled after revolting from BSP, joined the Samajwadi Party, but it is now proving to be a challenge for the SP to retain it in the party.
SP chief Akhilesh Yadav has included Ram Achal Rajbhar with great enthusiasm, but now where do you adjust them and from where they contest elections, it will not be easy. Because these leaders are MLAs from where they are, former cabinet minister Ramamurthy Verma, who is considered a big Kurmi face of SP, contests in the same seats. In such a situation, it has to be seen that SP bets on its old leader Ramamurthy that Ram Achal, who came as a rebel from BSP, makes a claimant.
Adjusting Ram Achal is a big challenge for SP
Samajwadi Party has included BSP rebel leader Ram Achal Rajbhar, but adjusting them is a big challenge. Ramamurthy Verma has been fighting for the last 20 years from Akbarpur seat and he became a minister by becoming an MLA from this seat. SP chief Akhilesh Yadav has patted Ramamurthy Verma by calling him the most honest minister from the stage many times during the SP regime. Therefore, this time if the party bets on Ram Achal except Ramamurthy Verma, then many big SPs can revolt with Kurmi votes. In such a situation, the equation will change again and this seat will get out of the hands of SP.
Supporters of both the leaders are claiming
Rammurthy Verma, former cabinet minister of Samajwadi Party, is making full preparations to contest the elections. He has been in the field continuously since he lost the 2017 election. His supporters say that the minister will contest elections from here. At the same time, after joining SP, supporters of Ram Achal Rajbhar are also talking about contesting from this seat.
