Ayodhya. A day before Diwali in Uttar Pradesh, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has made a big announcement. Giving relief to the poor class, he has announced to give free food grains till Holi under the Pradhan Mantri Anna Yojana. Under the scheme, food grains were being given free of cost to BPL card holders in the state from May to November. But now under this scheme, people will be given free food grains till the upcoming Holi. It is noteworthy that under this scheme 35 kg ration is given free to BPL card holders. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, who reached Ayodhya a day before Diwali, said with this that the government is with him in the upliftment and troubles of poor families. The government is working day and night to provide the poor with their rights and everything they need.
15 crore people will get benefit
Under the Pradhan Mantri Anna Yojana, 15 crore BPL card holders will get benefits in the state. During this, the card holders will be given wheat, rice, pulses, sugar, oil as well as salt free of cost.
