Damoh. A strange incident happened in Patharia of Damoh district. It was alleged here that a tantrik stole the ashes of a deceased from the crematorium and fled. When the family of the deceased wrote a report to the police, the police also got confused. The tantrik is currently absconding, the police is looking for him. It is suspected that these bones have been stolen for the mechanism of action.
This disturbing news of theft is from Patharia in Damoh district. Dharmachandra Rathore, who lived in Lakhroni village here, had died. Family and relatives went to the cremation ground of the village after performing his last rites by law. Flowers were to be picked the next day. But before that, a tantrik of the village stole the ashes of the deceased. The people of the village saw him while stealing.
It is being told that the family had received information that some people are stealing the ashes of the deceased Dharam Chand Rathore from the cremation ground. As soon as the news was received, Gopal Rathore and Dalchand Rathore of the deceased’s family immediately reached the crematorium. There he saw that Tantrik Prakash Ahirwar and some of his other companions were stealing the ashes. When Gopal and Dalchand tried to stop them, a scuffle broke out between the two sides and the accused fled after stabbing them.

Shocked by this incident, the Rathore family immediately lodged a report at the Patharia police station. Regarding the incident, the Superintendent of Police says that the deceased Dharamchand Rathore was cremated after his death yesterday. The case of theft of his ashes has come to the fore today. The police have taken the matter under investigation by registering cases under 297 and 323 IPC against the concerned accused.
