One such incident came to light in Govind Nagar area of Ratu police station area on Friday morning. The thieves set fire to the house after carrying out the theft. This house belongs to a person named Rajneesh Dwivedi, who is a jawan of Jharkhand Police. He is currently posted in Latehar district. Rajneesh went to Bihar with his entire family to celebrate Chhath festival. Taking advantage of this, the thieves carried out their nefarious designs.
This gang of thieves has not only stifled the police, but has also spread panic in the city. People are horrified by one theft incident after another. Now the local people are forced to live in the shadow of panic due to the incident of thieves setting fire to the house. In Ranchi, the house of a ZAP jawan was targeted in Doranda area recently. After committing the theft, the entire house was set on fire by sprinkling kerosene oil, due to which the whole house was burnt to ashes. A complaint has been made at Doranda police station, but the police is still empty handed.
The second incident took place in Sukhdev Nagar police station area, where the house was set on fire after committing the theft. In this case also the hands of the police are empty. Now on Friday, a similar incident of theft has come to light in Ratu police station area, where the house of a police jawan located in Govind Nagar locality was set on fire after committing the theft. Landlady Rachna Pandey told that the entire family of the jawan had gone to Bihar to celebrate Chhath, during which the incident was carried out.
Ranchi Police has also swung into action after the incidents of frequent theft and setting fire to houses came to the fore. It is being said that the matter will be investigated. SI Chamra Minj of Ratu police station said that the matter is being investigated. Police is busy in extracting the call dump. Theft incidents in other parts of the city are also being studied.
