The victim girl is a resident of Mall Road. He told that his account is in the branch of State Bank of India. Recently, he had put his PAN card in the bank. On February 19, a message came on his mobile. It was like a message bank. It was written that to link your PAN card account, click on the link given below. They thought it had come from the bank. On this the girl clicked on the link.
A web page opened on his mobile. It was in the name of the bank’s YONO app. His name and mobile number were already written in it. After this, columns were given to fill other information related to the account. On this he filled the information. After ten minutes, 50 thousand rupees were withdrawn from his account. He came to know about this message on arrival. He called the helpline number of the bank. Got your account closed. Online complaint was also filed. She reached the SSP on Monday.
