Azam Khan’s wait to come out of jail extended, Allahabad HC reserved decision after two and a half hours of debate

After the completion of hearing on the bail application of senior Samajwadi Party leader and SP MLA from Rampur Mohammad Azam Khan, the Allahabad High Court has reserved its decision. The court will give its verdict in this matter in the next week. The Single Bench of Justice Rahul Chaturvedi has reserved its decision after hearing the arguments of both the sides after a long debate that lasted for about two and a half hours. It is clear that Azam Khan has not got any relief from the High Court today, so he will still have to remain in jail.

Let us inform that after the completion of the hearing on December 4, 2021, the court had reserved the judgment. Whereas the state government had given an application and demanded to present some new facts. The matter has been heard in a single bench of Justice Rahul Chaturvedi of Allahabad High Court.

Know what’s the matter
In fact, SP MLA Azam Khan is accused of wrongfully occupying the property of the Waqf Board. At the same time, if he gets bail in this case, he will be released from jail. So far Azam Khan has got bail in 71 cases. At the same time, on getting bail in this last case, the SP MLAs will come out of jail. He is lodged in Sitapur Jail of UP for almost two years.

Politics over Azam’s release
However, Azam Khan has been lodged in Sitapur Jail for the last two years and the political temperature of UP is high regarding his release. Recently, media advisor to SP MLA Fasahat Ali had made serious allegations against Akhilesh Yadav and said that the SP chief does not want Azam Khan to come out of jail. Not only this, after this many supporters of Rampur MLA had resigned from the Samajwadi Party. After this, Praspa Chief Shivpal Singh Yadav also accused Akhilesh Yadav and Mulayam Singh Yadav that if both the leaders stood with Azam Khan, he would have been out of jail. With this he met Azam in Sitapur Jail and said that I always stand with him. With this, he said that when he comes out of jail, then we will decide about forming a new front in UP. At the same time, after meeting his uncle Shivpal Singh Yadav’s Rampur MLA, Akhilesh Yadav broke his silence and said that SP is with Azam Khan and we will take to the streets to get him released.
