Azamgarh Police and Transport Department have jointly launched a campaign under Road Safety Week. Under this campaign, the people of the district are being made aware about the observance of traffic rules, awareness, so that traffic related incidents can be prevented in the district. Road Safety Week is being organized continuously in the district. For this, the traffic department of the police and the officers of the transport department are constantly making people aware by setting up camps at different places. A separate police deployment is being done for the movement of big vehicles in the district. Awareness programs are being organized continuously in the schools and colleges of the district under Road Safety Week, so that the public of the district can be made aware and incidents can be prevented.

Campaign started against number plate makers
District SP Anurag Arya said that a campaign has been started against all those who are making number plates in the district. There are frequent complaints about number plates in vehicles. In such a situation, instructions have been given to all the number makers to make number plates according to the standard, so that the complaints regarding number plates can be removed.
