In UP’s Azamgarh Poisonous Liquor Case (Hooch Tragedy) case, Rangesh Yadav, a relative of former MP and Samajwadi Party leader Ramakant Yadav, has been arrested by the police from his house. The adulterated liquor was recovered from the contract of Rangesh Yadav, a relative of Ramakant Yadav. Under the guise of government contract, Rangesh used to do the business of spurious liquor. In this case, the police have so far named 7 accused from two different places. The police have registered a case against seven including Ramakant’s relative Rangesh Yadav under murder and serious sections.

However, Ramakant Yadav says that a conspiracy is being done against him at the time of elections. Ramakant Yadav is a Samajwadi Party candidate from Phulpur Powai assembly seat. Police say that the involvement of Ramakant Yadav in this case is also being investigated. Meanwhile, the police have raided and arrested 4 people so far. DM Amrit Tripathi says that action will be taken under NSA while confiscating the properties of all the accused.
