After the information of the local people, the police reached the spot, took possession of the body and sent it for post-mortem and was involved in the investigation of the whole matter. During the investigation, the police came to know that the deceased Motilal used to abuse Arvind’s grandmother every day. Arvind also opposed this many times. He went to the house of the deceased Motilal and complained, but Motilal did not deter from the antics.

Additional Superintendent of Police Laxmi Niwas Mishra told that the accused has confessed his crime and told that he was determined to eliminate Motilal. While conspiring, he called Motilal to him and both of them went for a walk. In the meantime, Arvind made Motilal drink alcohol heavily and when Motilal became intoxicated with alcohol, he put Motilal to death by making a noose with Safi.

Police said that after committing the murder, Arvind threw the body near the culvert, which made it look like an accident, but when the police investigated the matter, the case of murder went on opening. Now the killer is in the custody of the police. Additional Superintendent of Police Banda sent the accused to jail and disclosed the entire incident while holding a press conference.
