The first Bharat Gaurav tourist train by Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) will start from June 21. It will visit places related to the life of Lord Shri Ram in the Ramayana circuit from Ayodhya to Janakpur in Nepal. The journey will be 18 days. This train will stop at Tundla station in Firozabad only on 21st June. While returning there, it will stop at Agra.
Vegetarian food will be served only at the berth in the train
IRCTC Joint General Manager Achyut Kumar Singh and Chief Public Relations Officer Anand Jha interacted with the media on Saturday at the Executive Lounge, Agra Cantt. Told that the coaches of Bharat Gaurav train have been designed in the workshop of Lucknow. The air-conditioned tourist train will have AC third class coaches. Vegetarian food will be served to the passengers at their berths by the modern kitchen car.
Infotainment system has been installed in the train for the entertainment of the passengers. Security guards and CCTV cameras will also be there in each coach. He told that in the tour package, the fee per person for 18 days journey has been fixed at Rs 62,370. It also has facilities for passengers to travel by buses, accommodation in AC hotels, insurance etc.

The first stop of Bharat Gaurav train running from Delhi’s Safdarjung station will be Shri Ram Janmasthan in Ayodhya. From here the train will go to Buxar, where there will be Ganga bath at Vishwamitra Ashram, Ramrekha Ghat. After this the train will go to Janakpur in Nepal via Jayanagar. Here Janaki’s birth place will be visited, Sitamarhi, Ramjanaki temple will be visited.
After this the train will reach Kashi temple, Sita Samhita Sthal, Prayag, Shringverpur, Chitrakoot, Panchavati in Nashik, Kishkindha city after Hampi, Rameswaram, Kancheepuram after Bhadrachalam in Telangana. During this a journey of 1800 km will be done. 600 pilgrims will be able to travel in the train.
