Due To The Busyness Of The Officers In The Election, The Hearing Of The Death Of The Student Of Mainpuri Was Postponed, Now It Will Be Held On 23 March
In Mainpuri’s death case, the Additional Advocate General, on behalf of the state government, told the High Court on Thursday that the officials are busy on the instructions of the Election Commission. Therefore, the matter should be heard on a later date. On this, a division bench of Chief Justice Rajesh Bindal and Justice Piyush Agrawal directed for hearing on March 23.
The investigating police had told the court that the principal of the school has been arrested. He has been arrested under section 306 (abetment to suicide). The SIT’s advocate told that the principal has been arrested on the basis of the evidence found in the investigation regarding the death of the student. The court had said that how was Section-302 on the principal removed? How was he arrested under Section-306? On this, it was said from the government that the principal has been arrested on the basis of the evidence found so far in the investigation of the SIT. If further evidence related to murder is found in the investigation, then the section of his arrest will be changed.
Before the division bench hearing the case, it was said on behalf of the SIT that so far no evidence of murder has been found regarding the death of the girl student in the school premises. The SIT has considered every possible aspect. The girl has committed suicide, which may be due to family reasons. It was said that the SIT had received a letter written by the student. The investigation is going on from that angle as well. The High Court is hearing the petition of Mahendra Pratap Singh of Mainpuri in this matter. He himself is advocating for the justice of the deceased in the High Court.
