A fight broke out between BJP leaders Ramvir Singh and Girish Verma at the Chief Minister’s program in Moradabad.
In the program of the Chief Minister on Tuesday, BJP leader Ramvir Singh and Backward Classes Commission member Girish Verma were fiercely kicked. There was an altercation between the two leaders over some issue. Some leaders present there somehow separated the two and pacified the matter.
The incident happened shortly before the arrival of the Chief Minister at Bhadasana airstrip. The Chief Minister was to go to Rampur to address a public meeting. The CM was to land at Bhadasana airstrip before the state plane. After this, Rampur had to leave from here.
Local BJP leaders had reached the airport to welcome the Chief Minister. Then there was an altercation between Ramvir Singh and Girish Verma who were present here on some issue. After this Ramvir Singh attacked Girish Verma.

BJP sources say that inside the police-administrative officers and BJP leaders separated the two. But after this the supporters of Ramvir Singh gathered at the gate of the airstrip. In anticipation of an attack on Girish Verma, city MLA Ritesh Gupta took Girish Verma in his car and took him along.
On the other hand, former MP Sarvesh Singh took Ramvir Singh in his car. Mayor Vinod Agarwal, District Panchayat President Dr. Shaifali Singh, MLA Ritesh Gupta, District President Rajpal Chauhan and all local BJP leaders were present at the airport when this incident took place.

This is not the first case of assault between BJP leaders. About 15 days ago, BJP leader Manmohan Singh was thrashed by MLA supporters in the presence of cabinet minister Jitin Prasada at the Circuit House.
