Subhash Rai has been declared by the BJP as the assembly candidate from Jalalpur.
Ambedkar Nagar Subhash Rai, who left the SP and joined the BJP on January 24, was declared by the BJP as the assembly candidate from Jalalpur. Expressing confidence for the assembly elections, bypassing the old BJP, the party high command has finalized their ticket from Jalalpur assembly. While being an MLA, Subhash Rai, who was a contender for the SP ticket, left the SP and joined the BJP after former MP Rakesh Pandey joined the SP.
Subhash Roy, who was fond of wrestling since student life, tried his hand in politics and he was successful to a great extent in this. MLA Subhash Rai was associated with the Bharatiya Janata Party in the 90s. Subhash Rai, who had also won the title of Uttar Pradesh Keshari in the field of wrestling, contested the seat vacated by Ritesh Pandey’s resignation after being elected MP and won.

Since the announcement of Subhash Rai’s ticket from BJP on Friday from Jalalpur, the political heat has increased in the Jalalpur Assembly.
