Deshraj, a resident of Majra Khajohna of Tandahar, village panchayat of Kachona Kotwali area, told that sister Madhuri was married on May 9 with Chandrapal, a resident of Kaimapur, Hariawan police station.

On May 12, Madhuri came to her maternal home after leaving her in-laws’ house. On Friday night, after having dinner, she lay with her mother in the verandah. When the mother’s eyes opened at around five o’clock in the morning, Madhuri was not seen. She was not seen for a long time, so the family started searching. During this, when I tried to open the door of the room, the latch was seen locked from inside. Looking through the window, the torch was seen burning inside and Madhuri was seen hanging.
