In the ongoing dispute over property in Khanpur area of Bulandshahr, a man shot and injured his brother and sister-in-law.
In UP’s Bulandshahr district on the night of November 13, a young man gunned down his elder brother and sister-in-law at a birthday party. Both are being treated at Delhi’s Safdarjung Hospital. The police has arrested the accused person.
According to the police, the incident is from Khidrpur village under Khanpur police station area. The birthday program of his daughter Mansi was going on at Mohit Sharma’s house. During this there was also a liquor party. It is being told that there was an argument with Mohit Sharma’s younger brother Moolchand Sharma over the distribution of ancestral property. After this there was a fight between both the sides. When the dispute escalated, Moolchand took out the pistol and shot the elder brother Mohit who hit him in his hand. Hearing the sound of bullets, Mohit’s wife Pooja Sharma came to the rescue and the accused also shot her. Pooja is said to have received three bullets.
Treatment continues in Safdarjung Hospital
On receiving the news, immediately the police of Khanpur police station reached the spot. The accused Moolchand was arrested with a pistol. After this both the injured were sent to Bulandshahr District Hospital. From here he was referred to Delhi. Both are being treated at Delhi’s Safdarjung Hospital.
The accused was demanding money along with the property
According to the police, Late Joliram Sharma has three sons. The ancestral property has been divided among all three. But one of his sons was demanding some money apart from Moolchand’s property. There was a constant dispute between the brothers regarding this for the last few days.
