Shimla. The budget session of Himachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly is starting from February 23. This will be the last budget session of Jai Ram government’s tenure. The main opposition party Congress has geared up to surround the government in this session, which will last till March 15. Congress Legislature Party meeting will be held at Hotel Holy Day Home in Shimla on Tuesday at 7 pm. In the meeting, a strategy will be made to surround the government. On the other hand, the meeting of the BJP Legislature Party will also be held in Peter Hoff at 7 pm.
Parliamentary Affairs Minister Suresh Bhardwaj has given a statement on the preparations to surround the government of the opposition. Bhardwaj says that the opposition has no issue, it is an issue within his own party. He said that the government is fully prepared and every allegation of the opposition will be given a befitting reply. He said that all the subjects get discussed in the Governor’s address but then if the opposition feels that there is a topic left, then there are many provisions to raise it.
Governor’s speech begins
Regarding the budget session, he said that the session will start with the address of the Governor. In the address of the Governor, the achievements and works of the government will be discussed for the whole year, after that it will be discussed. The Governor’s Address will be passed and sent to the Governor. He said that this is an important session, during which supplementary Budget will also be presented. Suresh Bhardwaj said that the CM will present the budget on March 4, after that there will be discussions on it and on March 9, the CM will answer the discussion, the budget will be passed on March 15. During this session, two days will be Private Member’s Day, in which 8 proposals can be discussed.
