According to the police, a total of 39 jawans were in the bus, out of which 17 were injured.
The incident is from Pipra area of Hargaon police station area. The construction work of overbridge is going on here on Lakhimpur-Sitapur road. According to the information received, after finishing the duty of assembly elections from Shikohabad, a bus full of 39 CISF personnel was going for the fourth phase of polling in Lakhimpur district. Meanwhile, while overtaking the tractor on Sitapur Lakhimpur road late in the evening, the bus went out of control and overturned in the ditch near the under-construction overbridge. After the bus overturned, there was a scream and the local people informed the police about the matter.

After the incident, the police reached the spot and admitted the injured 17 jawans to CHC Hargaon in a hurry.
