On Wednesday, a public awareness rally regarding the National Pulse Polio campaign was taken out from the district hospital, Orai. The rally was flagged off by Chief Development Officer Dr. Abhay Kumar Srivastava and Chief Medical Officer Dr. ND Sharma. On this occasion the Chief Development Officer said that vaccination works to save lives. To save children from disability, give two drops of Pulse Polio. These two drops will come in handy to save the lives of the children. He instructed the teams associated with the campaign to work with full responsibility.

The Chief Medical Officer said that the Pulse Polio campaign would be conducted from March 20 to 25. In this, polio medicine will be administered to children by organizing a day on March 20. After this, from March 21, the teams of the Health Department from house to house will work to give medicines to the children. A total of 223085 children from birth to five years are to be administered medicine during the campaign. Additional Chief Medical Officers Dr. Sanjeev Prabhakar and Dr. SD Chaudhary said that teams have been formed for pulse polio campaign. They have been given the responsibility. Medicines will be given to 100 percent children in the campaign.

The rally passed through District Hospital premises, passed through Shaheed Bhagat Singh Chauraha to Bajaria and ended in the District Hospital premises via Ganeshganj.
