The cases of corona are increasing in Ghaziabad and Gautam Budh Nagar adjacent to Delhi. In the report released on the evening of December 28, 40 new cases have come in these two districts in a single day. In these two districts, now the active cases of corona have increased to 148. That is, 38% active cases of UP are in Ghaziabad and Noida only.
Four reasons for the increase in cases in these districts
- Delhi receives international flights from all countries and both the districts are adjacent to Delhi.
- There are flights from Karnataka at Hindon Airport in Ghaziabad. Corona has increased in Karnataka.
- Travelers from all over the country reach Delhi. They come in contact with the people of Ghaziabad-Noida somewhere in travel.
- A large number of people from abroad are coming daily to Ghaziabad-Noida.

On December 28, ten new cases of corona have come in Ghaziabad. This includes a 45-year-old man working in a private bank in Delhi, a student who returned from the United Kingdom on December 19, a 37-year-old youth doing a marketing job in Hauz Khas Delhi, a salaried person who came from Mumbai on December 23. Four housewives have also been found corona infected.

Sero survey completed in 15 districts
Sero survey was conducted from December 24 to 28 in Ghaziabad, Lucknow, Varanasi, Gorakhpur, Gautam Budh Nagar, Moradabad, Meerut, Prayagraj, Bareilly, Banda, Agra, Kanpur Nagar, Deoria, Maharajganj and Azamgarh in UP. During this, 1496 samples were collected. Under this survey in Ghaziabad, 104 samples were collected on Tuesday. These samples have been sent for testing. The purpose of sero survey is to know how much immunity is there in people.
