The time has come for the results of the ongoing battle for the post of Legislative Council member in Rae Bareli for more than 20 days. After voting on April 10, the counting of votes will take place on April 12 under tight security. Nine tables have been set up for counting of votes at the Government Industrial Training Institute. Counting of votes will start from 8 am. Tight security arrangements have been made for the counting of votes. No one will be allowed to enter without a pass. The counting personnel were given tips on how to count the votes in the Vikas Bhawan auditorium on Monday. All the counting personnel have been ordered to reach the counting of votes on time.

Voting for the post of Legislative Council member was held on April 10, in which 2464 voters out of 2480 voters in all 18 blocks created a record in the state by exercising their franchise. The highest turnout was recorded in Rae Bareli. After the polling, the district administration started preparing for the counting of votes. Nine tables have been set up in the Government Training Institute for counting of votes. Apart from this, a table has been kept for the Returning Officer. Counting of votes will be done from 8 am.
