The cycling tour from Moirang in Manipur to Delhi was received on its arrival at the settlement led by the Indian Medical Association. A distance of 2500 kms is being covered by Dr. Atul Bharadwaj, his son Aarav Bharadwaj (10), a famous Orthopedist of Saroj Group of Hospital, New Delhi, a follower of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose.
Netaji’s 125th birth anniversary yatra
The proposed cycle yatra on the 125th birth anniversary of the great freedom fighter and founder of Azad Hind Fauj Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose was welcomed at Malviya Road on reaching Basti. This cycle journey has started from 14th April, which will end on 15th May after reaching Delhi. Dr. Rangji Dwivedi, the convener of the Abhinandan ceremony, said that this welcome program was organized to encourage the team. To support the journey, Dr. Bhardwaj’s father MS Bhardwaj, uncle RK Bhardwaj and friend Jaspar both are walking escorting cyclists.
