In Bahraich district, all arrangements have been completed for the purpose of conducting the counting process of 13 local authority general elections-2022 in a free, fair and peaceful manner. A total of 36 personnel have been appointed for the counting of votes.
A total of 09 tables including 02 reserves have been set up for the counting of votes. In the counting party, second class officer has been appointed as Counting Supervisor, Junior Engineer level officer for counting assistant and 01-01 Bank Officer has been appointed as Micro Observer and 01-01 Class IV Personnel has been appointed as Polling Officer III. Responsibility has been assigned. The counting of votes will start from 8 am.
Voting took place in 20 booths
BJP and SP candidates are in the fray in Bahraich-Shravasti MLC seat. The counting of votes will start from 8 am in Thakur Hukum Singh Kisan PG College. Nine tables have been set up for the elections held in 20 booths. Four counting personnel have been deployed at each table. A total of 36 employees have been engaged for counting of votes. Counting personnel and agents of candidates will reach KDC by 7 am.
No one will be allowed to carry mobile or electronic devices. 3758 voters were registered in both the districts for MLC elections. Out of this 3716 voters had exercised their franchise. In view of the counting of votes, District Magistrate Dr. Dinesh Chandra, SP Keshav Kumar Chaudhary, CDO Kavita Meena and other officials took stock of the premises. The DM has given instructions to declare the votes after every round from the RO table.
