State’s first Zika dedicated medical center will be built in Kanpur. On Wednesday, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had a meeting with the review officers in the KDA auditorium regarding the increasing cases of Zika virus. And after that had also visited the affected area Shyam Nagar. After the review meeting, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath expressed satisfaction over the survey and surveillance work being done by the health department, but has also given many instructions to the officials. Regarding this, Industrial Development Minister Satish Mahana held a meeting with other officials at the Circuit House on Thursday. Several issues were discussed in the meeting. The most important issue in this was on Zika Dedicated Hospital. On the issue of CM’s visit and dedicated medical center, SP MLA Irfan Solanki raised the question and said that where Zika was there, the CM did not go there.

Why didn’t the CM go where Zika’s stronghold: Irfan Solanki…
On Wednesday, the Chief Minister had reached Shyam Nagar to visit the Zika affected areas. But Samajwadi Party’s Sisamau MLA Irfan Solanki has raised questions on his Shyam Nagar tour itself. He said the chief minister went to a place where there were one or two cases of Zika virus. He left where the Chief Minister was told by the officials. But in Pokharpur and Pardevanpur areas where maximum Zika virus has been found infected and at present, more than 80 infected people are isolated in their homes. Living there, probably did not want to show outside media.
