Noida. A 24-year-old engineer committed suicide in Uttar Pradesh’s Gautam Budh Nagar district after he was allegedly harassed by his in-laws. He had married a girl of another religion, due to which his in-laws were harassing him. Before committing suicide, she also shared a purported note addressed to the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh on social media demanding action against her in-laws.
Police officials said that on the basis of the complaint of the father of the deceased, an FIR has been registered at Sector 24 police station against four people, including the parents of his wife. His father has said in his complaint that he used to work in a software company in Noida and lived in Sector 54 of the city. His body was found hanging from a tree near his house on Saturday.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (Zone II) Amit Kumar Singh had told that Waine Munyasa Idambo jumped from the 14th floor of his society in the early hours of Sunday. He told that the police reached the spot after getting information about the incident, admitted the foreign girl to a private hospital in Greater Noida, where doctors declared her brought dead during treatment. The officer said that the police are trying to find out what was the reason behind the foreign girl’s suicide.
