CNG and PNG have also become expensive amid rising prices of petrol and diesel. There has been an increase of Rs 3 on CNG and Rs 2 on PNG. The new price will be applicable from 6 am on Saturday. Talking about the last 24 days, the price has increased by Rs 14.03 on CNG and Rs 8.50 on PNG. This has increased the cost of 22 thousand vehicle owners and 51 thousand PNG consumers.
Vinay Bhardwaj, Chief Project Manager, Green Gas Limited, said that earlier the price of CNG was Rs 83.53 per kg. Now its price has gone up to Rs 86.53 per kg. Talking about PNG, it has increased by Rs 2 to Rs 47 per SCM. Earlier it was Rs 45 SCM. Last month, on March 30, the price of CNG was Rs 72.50 and that of PNG was Rs 38.50.
Inflation hit 51 thousand families in Agra
The new rate will be applicable from 6 am on Saturday. There are more than 22 thousand CNG vehicles in the district and they get CNG filled from 24 pumps. Talking about PNG connections, there are connections in 51 thousand families. In this way, they will be hit by costly CNG and PNG. Earlier, the prices of petrol, diesel and cylinders have already increased.
