DU Admission & CUET 2022: Admission in DU colleges will be done only on the basis of CUET marks and not on the basis of 12th marks. In such a situation, apply only after reading the guidelines of CUET. DU’s Dean Admission Prof. Hanit Gandhi said these things in a webinar organized on the topic ‘Central University Entrance Examination-2022: Enrollment Process in Undergraduate’.
He informed that the questions in the exam will be from subject-specific paper, language paper and general test. Students desirous of admission may visit www.admission.uoc.ac.in website, information bulletin, infographics etc. for further details.
Guidelines for DU CUET 2022:
1- Select Slot 1 for General Test.
2- You can choose the language of choice in the paper.
3- The subject based question paper will be in one chosen language and the other in English.
4- DU admits in 73 subjects of graduation under the admission process.
Merit will be decided on the basis of major three or four subject.
5- Admission to all programs will be on the basis of CUET, only admission in SOL or Non-Collegiate Women’s Education Board will be as before.
6- When a student enrolls in commerce or arts from the science stream, no marks will be deducted for changing the stream.

7- One can give CUET exam only if there is a gap year.
8- Selection of one language is necessary for CUET.
9- The marks of language is not the basis of merit in the subject of science but 30 percent marks are necessary.
10- DU has not made major changes in the old eligibility for graduate admission. It will not be a problem to change the stream.
11- DU will see the best of four on the basis of CUET and merit will be prepared on that basis.
12- Can enroll in B.Com, BA program, B.Voc in section through General Test.
13- Combination of section three allows students to enroll in journalism.
In the merit of physical education and music, in addition to the marks of combination 1 or 2, the merit will be made by adding 50 percent marks of performance.
14- If a student has not studied Hindi in class 12th, then he is eligible for admission in Hindi Honors in DU but he will not be given priority.
15- If you give general test then you can get opportunity of admission in many more subjects.
16- There is no major change in DU in the merit of the course of Science.
17- You can get the syllabus of CUET from https://cuet.samarth.ac.in.
18- No separate application is to be made for each subject. Select the subject in which you want to apply and choose the university.
19- There will be no practical examination of any kind.
20- It is mandatory to give Mathematics test for Economics Honours.
21- Merit will be made by adding 75% of Trial and 25% CUET marks in Sports and ECA.
