Bahraich: When an elderly man reached the DM’s public darshan and narrated his pain, the DM’s heart sank. Munnu son Bhujang, resident of village Deverampur of Fakharpur Pargana under Tehsil Mahsi, appeared in the public darshan of the District Magistrate. He submitted an application that the opposition Tirath Ram Putra Janaki Prasad who is neither his relative nor the sole owner of my property. Still, he wants to take possession of the applicant’s land. It also prevents the applicant from going to his land. It was also informed by the applicant that the land of my late wife Geeta, of which she is the legal and legitimate heir. The land was tilled by the opposition on May 3 last, and also prevents him from going to the land.

The victim Munnu also mentioned in his application that his age is about 75-80 years. The said land is his only means of livelihood. In the application submitted by the victim, a request has been made to the competent authority to investigate the matter and take legal action. While seriously listening to the case of complainant Munnu son Bhujang, who reached Janta Darshan, District Magistrate Dr. Dinesh Chandra has directed Deputy District Magistrate Mahsi and Tehsildar to investigate the matter and ensure that the matter is disposed of immediately.
