Addressing the party workers on this occasion, PM Modi targeted Azam Khan and Nawab Malik in gestures. Without taking names of anyone, PM Modi said that if action was taken against some leaders, an attempt was made to give a communal color to the action of corruption.
On Thursday, at the Delhi party headquarters, PM Modi described the victory of BJP in four states as historic and said that we have got blessings from all four directions. In his address, the PM said, today I want to express some concerns in front of the country. The citizen of the country is working in the interest of the country with full responsibility. He is always involved in nation building, but some people in our country are constantly lowering the level of politics. Even in this era of Corona, we have seen that these people tried to mislead the country during the Corona period. The world is applauding our efforts to vaccinate, but that too has been questioned. Not only this, when people got trapped in the Ukraine war, they were raising the concern of their families. Even Operation Ganga was questioned.
PM said on the action taken on Azam Khan and Nawab Malik
The PM said, I say that one day such a day will definitely come, when the citizens of the country will end family politics. PM Modi said that I ask you people whether action should not be taken against those who do corruption. In our country, there is a feeling of fierce hatred against corruption and those who do it. The identity of filling their vault with corruption has become associated with some people. Seeing our honesty, the public had blessed us more in 2019. The country expects from us that your own government can take strict action against the corrupt. You tell me whether I should fulfill this aspiration of the people or not.
Talk on vaccine and modern infrastructure
PM Modi said, Friends, in these elections, I constantly talked about development. Talked on issues like home, vaccine, modern infrastructure to the poor. Along with this, the thing about which I had raised my concern was the extreme nepotism. I told people to think how familialism is harming them and taking the state back.
The PM said that today I am seeing that when legal institutions take any action to check such corruption, they are maligned. It is the misfortune of the country that the people involved in the scams are unitedly engaged in defaming the investigating agencies. Many times it also happens that if action is taken on someone, then it is given a communal color. This is also the reason for our victory in UP that people have suffered a lot due to such politics.
