Employees and teachers staged a sit-in protest in Hathras. Under the banner of Employees, Teachers, Officers and Pensioners Adhikar Manch, a dharna was held in the Collectorate premises under the leadership of Employees Union President Shashikant Gautam. A memorandum was submitted to the Collectorate in the name of CM regarding various demands. Due to the strike-demonstration of the employees and teachers, the work in the departments came to a standstill.
It has been said in the memorandum that about 30 lakh employees of the state, teachers and all officers and pensioners of the state service, in place of the new contribution pension scheme implemented from April 1, 2005, to restore the old pension system of the employees-teachers and officers of the state. for a phased movement.
Forced to protest if demand is not met
A memorandum was sent by organizing a forum named ‘Employee-Teacher-Officer and Pensioners Adhikar Manch UP’ on October 5 by taking out motor cycle processions in all the district headquarters across the state.
