Noida. Thousands of employees of 15 big companies have complained about Sector-16 of Noida. The employees have sent this complaint to the Commissioner of Police, Noida with the help of Progressive Committee Foundation. There are both men and women among the complainants. They allege that they have to face a lot of problems while leaving the company and going to the metro station. Stray youths do snatching of mobile phones, laptops and purses. Problems of teasing and harassing women are common. These youths keep standing in a herd on the street vendors on the sidewalk.
Progressive Committee Foundation made this allegation
Sushil Kumar Jain, President of Progressive Committee Foundation has alleged that we are receiving repeated complaints from many corporate companies located in Sector 16 Noida. The employees working here are facing problems while commuting from Sector 16 metro station to their company. In the market in Sector 16, there are incidents like molesting women employees, obscene remarks, chasing of persons by some miscreants again and again. At the same time, there are incidents of snatching mobiles, wallets, laptops and other valuables with women and men.
That’s why the Progressive Committee Foundation is demanding a police post
President Sushil Kumar Jain has demanded from Police Commissioner Noida Alok Singh that thousands of employees work in more than 15 big companies of this area. In this, there are more than a thousand employees of Max Towers including 250 women. Most of these employees use Metro. For which they have to pass through the market and drain bridge of Sector 16 to go from the metro station to the company office.
During this, it is very difficult to pass through here, especially for women. That’s why the employees are very afraid to pass through the metro while coming to the office and going back in the evening. Therefore, police booths or outposts etc. should be built near unauthorized colonies and markets. Along with increasing police patrolling in the area, the number of women policemen should be increased.
