Explain methods of interview with studies: Soft skill development workshop at Shaheed Mangal Pandey Women’s PG College, Meerut

A workshop on the topic “Soft Skill Development” was held under the aegis of Employment Cell at Shaheed Mangal Pandey Government Women’s Postgraduate College, Madhav Puram, Meerut. In this, the girl students were told about preparation for competitive exams, interview behavior along with studies. In the workshop, Student Relationship Manager Soumya Madhavi, and Medha gave tips related to personality development to the girl students.

Give best performance in interview
Soumya exposed the students to various soft skills along with personality development through the activity. Tips were given to the students to get success in the interview. Always carry two copies of resume when going for interview. Speak in the language you feel confident speaking in, Hindi or English. Stuck or stop speaking will weaken your effect. Wear plain, sober clothes while going to the interview, your look should be office going, not party going. Maintain eye contact while talking. Don’t talk too loud or too low. Answer each question carefully.

On this occasion, Principal of the college, Dr. Anju Singh, while explaining the importance of soft skills to the girl students. Employment cell in-charge Dr. Bharti Dixit conducted the program by Dr. Amar Jyoti. During the program all the members of Employment Cell Dr. SPS Rana, Dr. RC Singh, Dr. Usha Sahni, Dr. Daisy Verma, Dr. Rajiv Kumar, Dr. Ashish Pathak etc. were present.

Students will learn Earn with Learn Pattern
Employment registration camp was organized for the students in the college. The registration of girl students was done for the employment fair to be organized by the employment cell. Ajit Kumar Yadav, Vijay Pratap Singh, Omdutt and Raju Yadav registered on behalf of the Regional Employment Office. Students of UG, PG and B.Ed have registered themselves.
