Expressed displeasure over getting less ration in Gonda: Memorandum submitted to SDM, said – Kotedar gives less ration even after getting thumb installed

In Gonda, many people, including cardholder villagers Raju, Shamim, Zubeida, Sadab, Rubina, Azad, Ramzan, cardholders of Gram Panchayat Barbatpur under Haldharmau in Tehsil area have demonstrated in the tehsil and submitted a demand letter to the sub-divisional magistrate. In the given demand letter, the card holders allege that the Kotdars of the Gram Panchayat are distributing food grains in an arbitrary manner.

Said that after getting the thumb, it is said that your thumb is not being felt. While the government has given instructions to distribute five kilograms of food grains per unit to the beneficiaries. But the Kotedars are distributing only three kilograms of food grains instead of five kilograms. At the same time, if they protest, they are driven away by abusing and threatening to kill them. Not only this, it is openly said that I am giving monthly to the officers. Wherever I have to complain, nothing is going to spoil me.

In this regard, Deputy Collector Hiralal said that the matter is under information, the concerned Supply Inspector has been directed to investigate. On receipt of the report, action will be taken on the basis of merits and demerits.
