Three youths were killed and one youth was seriously injured in a head-on collision of two bikes near Palia Bazar in Phulpur Kotwali area of the district at around three o’clock in the afternoon. 22-year-old Manoj and 23-year-old Ajay Yadav, residents of Ufri village of Phulpur Kotwali area, went to Shahganj on a motorcycle on Friday. They were returning at around three o’clock when the speeding speed coming from the front near the temple located in Palia Bazar collided with another bike. The collision was so strong that the bike rider fell on the road at a great distance. Due to this, four people on both the bikes were seriously injured.
One died during treatment
With the help of locals, all were sent to CSC Phulpur for treatment where doctors declared Manoj and Ajay dead. While two seriously injured youths were referred to the Higher Center. The relatives took the injured Gaurav Yadav to the district hospital where he also died. At the same time, the treatment of the fourth youth, Krishna Kumar, is going on in a private hospital. According to the information, his condition is also serious. The incident has created a ruckus in the families of the three deceased. On the other hand, Superintendent of Police Anurag R said that as soon as the information was received, the police reached the spot and took the dead bodies into custody. The matter is being investigated. Strict action will be taken against whoever is found guilty. According to the police, the accident happened due to speeding. Due to the high speed of both the motorcycles, the drivers could not control and the collision took place.
