Noida Metro Rail Corporation Limited’s (NMRC) fast metro will stop at Sector-148 metro station from February 1. For this, NMRC has issued a notification. An NMRC spokesperson said that the First Metro, which runs from 8 am to 11 am and 5 to 8 pm in peak hours, will stop at this station. Actually, the footfall of passengers has increased rapidly at Sector-148 metro station. This decision was taken when the demand increased.
What is NMRC’s Fast Metro
The ‘Fast Train’ has been introduced between Noida and Greater Noida on the Aqua Line to save the time of passengers. These trains do not stop at the stations from where there are less passengers during peak hours. This saves the time of the passengers. This decision was taken due to the demand of the passengers.
Fast metro does not stop at these stations
Fast metro train services are running from 8 am to 11 am and from 5 pm to 8 pm. This is only from Monday to Friday. Trains stop at all metro stations on Saturdays and Sundays. Fast Metro does not stop at Sector- 50, Sector- 101, Sector- 81, Sector- 83, Sector-143, Sector-14, Sector- 145, Sector-146, Sector-147 stations.
It takes only 28 minutes 30 seconds to cover the distance by ‘Fast Train’
It takes just 37 minutes to reach Pari Chowk Metro Station from Sector 51 Metro Station. There are 29 stations between them. This journey is completed in just 28 minutes 30 seconds by fast train. Therefore, most of the passengers coming to the station demand to stop these trains here. This train is available at an interval of 10 minutes during peak hours and 15 minutes during non-peak hours.
