There was a crowd after the fetus of the child was found in the drain near Naveen Galla Mandi in the Thana Etmauddaula area of Agra. A junk picker child saw the box lying in the drain and opened it thinking it to be junk. The police who came to the spot has started further action by sending the fetus for post-mortem. It is being speculated that due to public shame, the fetus has been thrown there.
According to the information, the counting of votes was done on Thursday at Naveen Galla Mandi site of Agra and today shops were not open there. In the evening some person had thrown a cartoon in the nearby drain. A junk picker boy picked it up with the hope of finding something useful in it and as soon as he opened it, his senses were blown away. In the box was the body of an unborn child. When the boy screamed, a crowd of people gathered there. On information, the police took the fetus in possession and sent it for post-mortem. People have an idea that out of fear of public shame, someone has thrown the dead body here after getting an abortion. In the past also such incidents have come to the fore in this area.
The area has become a market for hospitals
There is a big market of hospitals on National Highway 2 of Agra. Hospitals are open every ten steps from Bhagwan Talkies to Rambagh and its surrounding areas. Many times there are complaints about working against the rules here. Earlier, a woman named Manisha had her intestines cut while undergoing an operation for abortion in the fifth month and she died a week later. Many times Rajasthan Police has raided this area on the complaint of gender test. A year and a half ago, the case of selling a child of a poor woman in a hospital here also came to light. There is hardly any month when there is no incident of uproar in the hospital after treatment, recovery and death, but even after all this, no concrete action is ever taken by the health department. Once a case is highlighted, the campaign goes on for a day or two and then everything is back to normal.
