FIR Of Theft On 7 Including SO In Hardoi: In 2018, The Kiosk Was Confiscated From The Roadside, For Missing Goods From The Police Station
An FIR has been registered against Surendra Kumar Sonkar, the then SHO of Madhauganj police station on charges of theft.
In Hardoi, an FIR of theft has been registered against 7 policemen including SO. It is being told that about 3 years ago, the SO along with the police force had confiscated the kiosk standing on the roadside along with the goods. When the victim reached the police station, the kiosk disappeared. Due to lack of hearing in the police, the victim took refuge in the court. The court has ordered action in the case of theft.
The case is of Mohalla Gokhalenagar of Madhauganj town. Ravindra Kumar, who lives here, was keeping a kiosk outside his plot at the bus stop. It is alleged that on June 28, 2018, on the complaint of Sudhir Kumar, Shivam and Sandhya, the then SHO Surendra Kumar Sonkar ransacked Ravindra’s shop. The kiosk along with the goods was confiscated and taken to the police station. When Ravindra reached the police station and found the kiosk missing. He appealed to the police officers, but to no avail. In November 2018, Ravindra took refuge in the High Court.
Court order inquiry
The case was transferred to the Additional Civil Judge, Senior Division and directed for action. In the investigation, the then SHO Surendra Kumar Sonkar, Sudhir Soni, Shivam Soni, Aashiq Ali, Raju and Sanu were found involved in the incident. Seven people, including the then SHO Surendra Kumar, were ordered to register a case under the Indian Penal Code 379 theft.

The victim Ravindra told that he has got justice from the court. A case has been registered against the accused. This has given them hope for justice. On the other hand, SO Surendra Kumar is currently posted in Ayodhya. Due to irregularities, he has been removed from the line. Currently working in Police.
