Food department team filled samples in Deoria: Two teams launched campaign in Deoria and Rudrapur area, strictness is being taken in view of Holi

In Deoria, as per the instructions of Commissioner Food Safety and Drug Administration, Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow, a checking campaign is being conducted in view of Holi. The team filled eight samples. Of the two teams, the first team seized 800 kg of Kachri sample from Municipal Council Deoria and JK Foods Industrial Area Purva Deoria of Rudrapur area on suspicion. 250 kg gram flour was seized from the establishment of Sanjay Gupta Baitalpur on the suspicion of substandard. Samples of khoya were collected from Darshan Sweet House, located near SSBL Inter College, Anand Mohan’s establishment, Bhikhampur Road. Maize papad sample was taken from Varun Barnwal’s establishment.

Vegetable oil sample filled

At the same time, the second team sampled vegetable oil from Vinayak Traders Bhatni in Salempur, Barhaj and Bhatpar Rani area, mustard oil sample from Gupta Kirana Store Bhatni, and maida sample from Gupta Kirana Store located in Bhatni. 20 quintals of flour seized on suspicion of being substandard. All the samples were sent to Food Analyst Laboratory, Uttar Pradesh. On receipt of the inquiry report, legal action will be taken under the Safety Standards Act 2006. Chief Food Safety Officer Shivendra, Sandeep Srivastava, Manish Mall in the first team included Ranjan Kumar Srivastava, Ajit Tripathi, Subhesh Kumar Food Safety Officer in the second team.
